Restaurant Hotel Porto Roca

We stayed here in May for part of our honeymoon, had a wonderful stay! Loved this hotel and we hope to be back one day! The view from the rooms are amazing and loved the pool. Service every where was fantastic. We originally got dinner included with our stay but wanted thought it was a little fancy for us and we wanted to check out places in the town. We had the package removed no problem at the front desk and they were very understanding

Lovely hotel, beautiful views, loved the pool area and all of the lounge areas to sit overlooking the water. Good location right on the hiking trail. We extended our stay and had to move from the partial ocean view room to the smallest room with no view. It was very small with nowhere to lay out your luggage. It was fine as we already knew we’d spend most of our time outside, but I wouldn’t book this room again if I had the choice.

My family and I can't say enough amazing things about this place, from the pool to the amazing sea views and their impeccable updated rooms (especially their bathrooms, gorgeous), making you feel at ease to enjoy the environment around you. Food options to order at poolside were delicious and staff was great. We will definitely return here as we didn't have a chance to dine at their restaurant while here- tip- make reservations in advance during high season. I hear their restaurant is great!

Wanted to give it a full 5-stars but didn’t due to service (explained further) positives: Property is beautiful and amenities are top notch- the BEST in cinque terra. The front office staff was so helpful. Overall it was so lovely. The views alone are just stunning. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was that the restaurant staff and pool staff seemed a bit annoyed by tourists/ like you were bothering them when ordering or asking for help. Unfortunately it was consistent throughout our 4-day stay. I understand it must be exhausting catering to hotel guests and tourists but I really hope the hotel can improve this considering the cost of staying.

We stayed here for four nights in October 2023. We had a wonderful experience. The property is spectacular - the photos on the website paint the picture far better than any description I could add. We had a jr suite, with a fabulous view, and we never tired of sitting on our balcony taking it all in. The hotel sits right along the walking route between Monterosso and Vernazza. Unfortunately, while we were visiting, the National Park Service had closed the route due to recent heavy rains. We still were able to hike to Levanto, which was a real treat. Back to the hotel - the service was outstanding. We can't say enough nice things about the staff. They took good care of us in every respect! Monterosso seemed to us to be a bit less crowded than some of the other villages, in part because there are two halves of the village. The hotel is in the southeastern half, whereas the train station is in the northwest half (and is, predictably, more crowded). The hotel sits about ~150 ft (~50 m) above the village. Although we always walked (except when we arrived and departed with our luggage), the hotel offers a shuttle to the village below. FYI - The hotel provides taxi service between the hotel and the train station in Monterosso. We would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing place to stay for vacation in Cinque Terre!! The staff is so helpful and so nice. It is truly a 5-star luxury hotel. The rooms are clean and the location up on the hill is magnificent. We especially want to thank a special staff member named Peter who is a bartender at the hotel bar & by the pool. Peter is so much fun and made such a good atmosphere for our family! Good employees are the absolute best at places like this and Peter is one of them! Thanks again Peter!!
